Relationship Counseling

When it comes to relationships, we will support you in creating the connections you want with others. The approach we use has been described as commonsense, and it primarily follows the work of Terry Real (Relational Life Institute, Cambridge, MA).

“Full respect living” is how Mr. Real describes the principle of respecting both yourself and others at the same time. This is at the core of what we believe and use in counseling at Private Reserve Counseling. We also take a look at how patterns that were learned in the families we grew up in may impact our relationships now.

We offer traditional appointments as well as some non-traditional options including: meeting with a group for basic relationship skills training; intensive couples counseling, especially useful for couples in crisis. We welcome complex relationship issues and we can accommodate the needs of high-profile clients.
